If you give a man a Tesla, he will talk about it morning, noon and night – and we mean all the f***ing time. 

 

And so begins a hilarious take on this current and special meeting of gender and culture - a look at how men’s lifelong preoccupation with cars that go Vroom is now a fascination with cars that go silent but are genius . . . (like their owners).  Written as a parody of a beloved children’s series and beautifully illustrated by a well-known artist. 

 

Renee Burns Lonner, author, is a management consultant for major corporations and a licensed psychotherapist based in Los Angeles, California. She has always loved writing and prior to this project, her work has been serious (as in ultra), appearing in professional publications, newspapers and a textbook. The pandemic and all its craziness provided the need for therapy of the literary kind, and the opportunity to observe a most humorous intersection of culture and gender presented itself.  This book is the result.
